First AML integration

How to connect your First AML account, and create cases via the LockedOn AML workflow

Written by Iain French

The First AML integration allows you to create and monitor AML (KYC / KYB) cases directly from a property in LockedOn, while completing the verification and risk assessment process through your First AML account.

Please note: Only account owners or users with the AML admin role can manage this integration.

Before you begin

You will need your First AML Client ID and Client Secret. These credentials connect your First AML account to LockedOn. Please read this help article to find out more about this process.

Connecting First AML to LockedOn

  1. Go to Engine, and under Integrations, click View all.

  2. First First AML in the list, and click Configure.

  3. Enter your Client ID and Client Secret.

  4. Click Submit.

LockedOn will securely connect your First AML account. Once the connection is complete, the AML section will become available within your property records.

Creating an AML case

To begin a new AML case:

  1. Open the relevant property in LockedOn. Add the relevant vendors or purchasers, as required.

  2. On the right sidebar, under Vendor and Purchaser, will see a KYC section.

  3. Click Begin to launch the process.

  4. Select the office user responsible for the case. Only users with access to your First AML account will be available.

  5. Create the case.

Once the case has been created, LockedOn will provide a link to open it in First AML. From there, First AML will send the required information to the vendors or purchasers so they can complete the identity verification process.

Monitoring the case

As the case progresses, its status will be updated in LockedOn. You will also be able to view a detailed risk assessment for each party included in the case. Click Refresh at any time to retrieve the latest case information from First AML. You can also open the case in the First AML web platform to view or manage it directly.
