Before you begin You must be logged in as the account owner. For PayTo or direct debit, have your bank details available. If you choose PayTo, you may also need to approve the PayTo agreement in your banking app or online banking. |
How to add a payment method
1. Open Accounts & Billing
From the LockedOn dashboard, click your name in the top-right corner and select Accounts & Billing.
Open the account menu and select Accounts & Billing.
2. Open the Payments tab
In Accounts & Billing, select Payments. The Payment Methods area shows any payment methods already saved to the account.
Select Payments in Accounts & Billing.
3. Select Add Payment Method
Click Add Payment Method. A panel opens on the right with the available payment options: Card, PayTo and Direct Debit.
The Add Payment Method panel lets you choose Card, PayTo or Direct Debit.
4. Choose your payment method
Select the option that best suits your business:
Method | What you enter | Processing |
Card | Cardholder name and card details | Card payment |
PayTo | PayID or BSB and account number | Instant after bank approval |
Direct Debit | Account name, email, BSB and account number | Usually a couple of days |
PayTo
Enter a PayID or choose BSB & Account and enter the requested bank details. Then select Add PayTo Agreement.
PayTo can be set up using PayID or BSB and account number.
Important - PayTo approval After creating the PayTo agreement, log in to your bank and approve the request so LockedOn is authorised to process payments through PayTo. PayTo payments are processed instantly once approved. |
Direct Debit
Enter the account name, email address, BSB and account number, then select Add Direct Debit. Direct debit payments usually take a couple of days to process.
Enter your bank details and select Add Direct Debit.
5. Confirm setup with Support
Once your preferred payment method has been added - and any PayTo bank approval has been completed - let the LockedOn Support team know that your payment method is ready.
Result Your LockedOn account now has a payment method ready for account charges. If you selected PayTo, make sure the agreement is approved in your bank before expecting payments to process. |
