If a contact no longer wishes to be contacted in a certain way, or does not wish to be contacted at all, you can specify this in the Contact Settings. Each contact (within a client file) has it's own contact settings.

Accessing Contact Settings

  • Click Clients in the main menu

  • Search for / select the client you wish to update

  • Click View Contacts in the right menu (or click Information, then Contacts)

  • Click Edit Contact next to the contact you wish to update

  • Click Contact Settings.

The Do Not Contact options

You can individually specify which types of marketing the contact will / will not receive. LockedOn will automatically omit a contact from marketing depending on their contact options.

  • Do Not SMS - omitted from SMS messages

  • Do Not Call - Will flag them not to be called.

  • Do Not Email - omitted from email messages

  • Do Not Mail - omitted from print letters

You can also select Do Not Contact, which will disable all forms of communication with a contact.

When a contact unsubscribes from your emails

Every email you send contains an unsubscribe link. If the client clicks this the Do Not Email switch will be turned on in their contact settings automatically.
