Add a new client

How to add a new client to your LockedOn database.

Clients is one of the primary sections in LockedOn. This is where all of your buyers, vendors and potential sellers - past and present - are stored and managed, along with a full history of your relationship with them including notes, correspondence, activity and documents.

Adding a new client

  • Click on the green Action button and select Add Client.

  • This will open a side menu from the right where you can add in all appropriate contact details for the new client including given name, family name, email address, mobile number, postal address.

  • Click the green Add Client button at the bottom of the side menu.

You will now be redirected to the client file where you can update any additional details about the client such as buyer criteria, general information etc.

Adding an additional contact ie spouse

Each client file in LockedOn can have multiple "contact cards" linked to it, making it easier to address both members of a couple or household in one simple step.

If neither contact is currently in your database

  • Follow the first 3 steps outlined in Add a new client.

  • Click the + Add Contact button and fill in another contact sheet for the partner.

  • Once you have filled out BOTH contact forms, click the green Add Client button at the bottom of the side menu.

Adding an additional contact to an existing client file

If you already have a client file created for one member of the couple and wish to add the second;

  • Go to the clients section of LockedOn and use the search bar at the top of the list to search for the original clients mobile number, email address or full name.

  • Click the View button on the appropriate client file.

  • On the right hand side now, you will see a box filled with the clients contact details. Click the View Contacts button at the bottom of this box

  • Click the grey + Add Contact button underneath the original clients contact.

This will once again open the side menu from the right where you can add in all appropriate contact details for the new client including given name, family name, email address, mobile number.

Please note you do not need to add the postal address to the second contact on the client file. The first contact will store the postal address.

Be sure to click the green Add Client button at the bottom of this side menu once you have filled the contact form.
