Once an offer has been accepted on your listing, you will need to forward a copy of the sales advice to the vendor, purchaser and their respective solicitors/conveyancers. You can do this directly from the property file in your LockedOn.

  • Search/select the property address in your Properties section

  • Go to the Lifecycle > Sales Advice tab within this file.

  • Ensure you have filled this tab out with as many details as possible. Essential details include sale price, date, sold by agent etc.

  • Ensure you have linked your purchaser and the relevant solicitors to this sale and double check all parties have a postal address saved.

  • Click the green Update Sales Advice button at the bottom if you make any last minute changes to the sales advice tab.

  • Click the Print Sales Advice button. This will merge all of the information in your sales advice tab to your default sales advice letter template.

  • Once the letter has merged, the print sales advice button will change to a green Download Letter button. Click this to open the merged word document.

You can now edit or print and post your sales advice letter.

Please note: if you are unable to see a Print Sales Advice button at the bottom of your sales advice tab, it means the default sales advice template has not been saved in your office settings. Only admin users will be able to access the office settings in order to rectify this. Please refer to the article Office Defaults for instructions on how to set this.
