Just like merging and printing letters, you can merge and print address labels for your envelopes directly from your LockedOn database. No more regular data exports being sent off to third parties, wait times or fees.

Before you start

You will need some Avery labels to print on. They can feed into your printer just like paper but be sure to remember what type of labels you purchased as your merged data will be formatted to suit ie Avery L7163.

Check you have the appropriate template

  • Go to your LockedOn Engine

  • Click the View All button within the Templates box

  • Move to the Letters tab

  • Search for Avery and download/print the template by using the downward facing arrow to the right of the edit button

  • Compare the print out to your avery label sheet, are they the same? If not, email us or jump on live chat. We may be able to install the correct template for your labels.

Merging

  • In either the Clients or Properties section of your LockedOn, use the filter icons (agent, tags or common searches) to specify who you wish to contact.

  • Once you have the list, you can either send to everyone on the list or manually select just a few from the list.

  • To send to EVERYONE in that list, simply move to the next step. To select a few individual files, click the banner in the top left corner of each file you want to send to.

  • Click the grey Send button in the top right and select send a letter.

  • This will open a side menu from the right where you can further filter your Recipients list if you need to.

  • Start typing Avery in the Template dropdown box and select it from the list.

  • Select who the letter is being sent from in the Sending As or Dynamic Send As box.

  • Click the green Merge Letter button at the bottom of the side menu.

  • You will now be redirected to the Reports section where a full list of merged letters can be found.

  • Click the Download Merged Letters button to the right of the Avery template. This will open a word document with all of the labels merged and ready to print.

Remember to take out any standard paper in your printer paper tray and add in your Avery label sheets before printing your merged letters.
