How to use the inbuilt image editor to perfect your images and create branded digital marketing images.

The advanced image editor is a fantastic feature of LockedOn plus that allows you to add various effects including filters, logos, stickers and banners to your LockedOn images. No more paying for third party subscriptions and waiting for graphic designers to edit your digital prints!

Whenever you upload an image to a property file, article or agent profile site, the image editor will automatically open ready for you to start perfecting your image. To edit an image that was uploaded previously, simply click the Edit Image button or the pencil icon in the bottom right corner of the image itself.

Editing

Once open, you will see your image in the center and 5 buttons above it. From left to right you will see the x or close button, with a revert button just to the right of it. The revert button will reset the image and remove any changes you have made to it. In the middle there is an undo and redo button which will undo/redo your most recent edit and over to the far right is the save button. Please ensure you click this save button when you have finished editing your image.

The image editor itself is broken down into 5 main components which will be listed vertically on the left hand side of your screen.

Crop

  • Crop - by clicking on a corner and moving it

  • Centre - by clicking the button in the middle of the image or by clicking and dragging the image to where you want the focus

  • Rotate left - using the button above the image itself

  • Flip horizontally - using the button above the image itself

  • Rotate -using the button beneath the image and sliding the adjustment bar left or right to suit

  • Zoom - using the button above the image itself and sliding the adjustment bar left or right to suit

Filter

  • Select a filter from the range below the image to really perfect the look and feel of your image

Finetune

All of these areas can be fine tuned by selecting the appropriate button below the image itself and sliding the adjustment bar left or right to increase or decrease

  • Brightness

  • Contrast

  • Saturation

  • Exposure

  • Temperature

  • Gamma

  • Clarity

  • Vignette

Annotate

This is where you can start adding text, shapes or free hand drawings to your image by selecting one of the options below and clicking and dragging over your image.

  • Sharpie - draw your own shape or image. Be sure to select the line colour and line width.

  • Eraser - select this and click and drag over the shape you wish to erase

  • Line - draw a straight line. Be sure to select the line colour and line width.

  • Arrow - draw an arrow. Be sure to select the line colour and line width and select your preferred arrow start and end shape.

  • Rectangle - draw a rectangle. Be sure to select the fill colour, line colour and line width.

  • Eclipse - draw a circle or oval. Be sure to select the fill colour, line colour and line width.

  • Text - click and drag to create a text box then start typing your desired text. Be sure to select the font colour, font, font style, font size, line width and preferred text alignment.

Stickers

This section really allows you to essential create your own digital marketing. You can overlay your company branding, just listed/sold banners or any other image ie profile picture.

  • Select image - upload another image to overlay a portion of the existing image

  • Logos - select your preferred company logo from beneath the image itself

  • Banners - select from the pre set colours and titled banners. Options include just listed, just sold and under contract.

  • Emoji's - make your image fun by adding colourful emoji's to your image

Once you have made all the necessary changes to your image, be sure to click the save button in the top right hand corner.
