The digital pre-listing kit is an amazing tool that allows you to send your vendors confirmation of their appraisal appointment, provide them with information about you and your office, and allow you as an agent, to gain some valuable insight into their values and expectations.
To ensure consistency within your office, admin users can set the base default format that all agents in their office will use. The details within this format can then be customised to some extent by each agent prior to sending (see article "Sending digital pre-listing kit").
Before you start
The digital pre-listing kit contains affiliated features. Please ensure you have read the articles below and have added these features to your LockedOn prior to creating your office digital pre-listing kit;
Adding Articles - any market insights, tips for buying/selling etc.
Adding Testimonials - what your clients have to say about your office/staff.
Adding your agent bio - ensure EACH agent has completed their agent bio tab.
Getting started
Once you have included the above items, it's time to start customising your default digital pre-listing template.
Go to the Engine section.
Under the heading Digital Gateways, click the View All button.
Click the Configure button within the Digital Pre-Listing Kit box.
The pre built template will appear and will auto fill with sample data however, the template is broken down into separate components, all of which you can customise to suit your needs.
Components
The Digital Pre-Listing Kit template is made up of several separate components shown in list form to the right of your template. To see the customisation options for each component, click on the component name in the list.
Removing a component
Each component has an eye icon to the right of it. If you would like to remove a particular component from your digital pre-listing kit, simply click the eye icon to the right of that component and it will not appear in your template.
Breakdown of Components
Header and Intro
The first component of your digital pre-listing kit is the Header and Intro. This is where you confirm your appointment date and time with your client and introduce them to the process they are about to follow.

The Intro text can be changed from our default text by clicking that area on the screen and typing. Once you have updated this simply click outside the box for it to save
Select the Header and Intro option from the components list on the right. The customisation options for this section will appear above the components list.
The customisation for the Header and Intro is broken down into 5 main sections. Each bold title can be clicked to expand for customisation.
Layout - customise the text alignment, width of your Intro, Logo colour, Background (bg) colour and select to include or remove the pencil etched image. You may also manually highlight the intro text within the template itself and enter your own custom text here if you wish. Your agents will also be able to customise this prior to sending to their client.
Logo - Select your preferred logo (light or dark background previously uploaded to your company settings) and adjust the width of this logo.
Header - enter your custom header text and colour or leave the existing default text. Turn the switches for Hide Greeting and Hide Meeting Time on or off depending on your preference. If these switches are on (green) this information will be merged from the appraisal tab of the property file.
Description - adjust the spacing margins between your header, intro and buttons.
Calendar - if you would like to show your appointment destination as your office address, turn this switch on (green). Adjust the font colour as desired.
Agent Bio
This section pulls information from the profile of the specific agent responsible for the appraisal. Please ensure your agents have completed this section of their profile with the relevant details (refer to article "Adding Agent Bio").
You may customise the default format of this section to help maintain consistency amongst your users.
Description - customise the formatting of the agent description by adjusting the header size, weight and padding (spacing).
Feature list- select an icon for your features and adjust colour border top to suit ie solid, dashed, dotted.
Recent Sales
This section of the digital pre-listing kit can be adjusted by the agent to suit each appraisal prior to sending however, it's a good idea to have a base default for all users.
This section works similarly to the property card widget in your email templates in that it will pull data from the property file itself ie property details, images, online links, description etc.
When customising the default for this section you may edit the following;
Styles - edit the back ground colour of the recent sales section.
Properties - select properties dynamically ie all properties exchanged in last 30 days OR manually select individual properties by typing the address into box 2 and selecting the appropriate property from the list.
Sort - select which order you wish for these sales to appear ie exchanged new to old etc
Please note: Generally speaking for an office default, selecting dynamically is best as it will show recent sales made by your office as a whole. Each agent can then further customise this to suit their individual sales prior to sending if desired.
Buyer Match
This section will automatically merge active buyer and matching buyer stats directly from your database as well as the property characteristics (bed, bath, car) directly from the property file of the address being appraised.
The layout and colours of this section may be customised as follows;
Layout - select a colour for both font and background (bg).
Header - select a font colour
Stats - select a font colour and a colour for your stats (numerals). You may also adjust the type (solid, dashed, dotted) and colour of the border for each stat box.
Testimonials
Here you can select which testimonials you would like to appear in your default digital pre-listing kit template. As an office default, you may wish to select general office reviews however, this section can be adjusted by the agent prior to sending so they can select testimonials that relate to them personally. If you leave this blank it will always default to using the newest 4 testimonials added to your LockedOn account.
Style - select the background (bg) colour of this section
Testimonials - click in the "Select Testimonials" box and select your preferred testimonial from the list.
Please note, only testimonials that have been uploaded as per the "Adding Testimonials" article will appear in this dropdown menu.
Office Stats
The Office Stats section is a fantastic tool to promote the achievements and strengths of your office and staff.
Here you will see multiple blue customisable text boxes for the heading and for each stat. Simply highlight the existing text within these boxes to add your own office stats. The existing defaults show some great examples of the types of stats to think of.
To further customise, expand the headings in the list on the right.
Header - select/adjust the font size, colour and spacing (margin).
Icons - select which icon type to use for each of the four stats. Click the icon to the right for options.
Icon Style- select/adjust the colour, height and width of your chosen icons.
Layout - select a background (bg) colour for this section.
Individual agents can once again edit their own digital pre listing kit to reflect more personal statistics prior to sending.
Articles
Here you can select which articles you would like to appear in your default digital pre-listing kit template. As an office default, you may wish to select general selling/buying guides however, this section can be adjusted by the agent prior to sending so they can select articles that specifically relate to the property they are appraising. If you leave this blank it will always default to using the newest 3 articles added to your LockedOn account.
Style - select the background (bg) colour of this section
Articles- click in the "Select Articles" box and select your preferred article from the list.
Please note, only articles that have been uploaded as per the article "Adding Articles" will appear in this dropdown menu.
Footer
The footer acts in the same way an email signature works in all other email templates. It will merge the details of the appropriate listing agent at the time of sending.
You may customise the background colour for the footer in the Styles section to the right.
Save
Once you have customised all components of the digital pre-listing kit template, please ensure you click the Save and Close button in the top right corner of your screen.
